Tantalus Thigh Burner
If you’re looking for a beautiful challenging ride close to Waikiki, Tantalus (or Pu’u ‘Ōhi’a in Hawaiian) is right in the center of Honolulu. This half day ride is perfect for an experienced cyclist, and there are plenty of hiking trails along the way if you’re looking for more adventures. Get ready for 7 miles of winding turns and cut backs through the rainforest with unobstructed panoramic views of Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, and the Punchbowl Cemetery. This is our most extreme bike ride in Honolulu, featuring steep grades and sharp turns along a mountain road.
