Downtown & Kaka`ako
Explore the up & coming urban community of Ward Village and Kaka’ako, then ride to through historic downtown to experience Hawaii’s history first hand. Park at Iolani Palace to visit the King Kamehameha Statue, Kawaiahao Church, the Mission Homes Museum, and St. Andrew’s Cathedral. Riding through Kaka’ako & downtown is just one segment of the Honolulu Experience, but we encourage you to explore the rest of Honolulu by Scoot Coupe. You will be given a custom map at the time of your rental.
DIRECTIONS:
- Turn Right onto Paoakalani Ave.
- Turn Right onto Cartwright Rd.
- Turn Left onto Kapahulu Ave., passing the Ala Wai Golf Course on the left
- Turn Left onto Date St.
- Turn Right onto University Ave.
Continue on University Ave. to pass the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. University Ave. will turn into Oahu Ave., and the grade will incline until you reach the falls. - Turn Right onto Manoa Road and follow Manoa Road to the base of Manoa Falls Trail
The hike is 3/4 mile to the 150-foot waterfall. Make sure to visit the Lyon Arboretum while you’re there. After hiking and exploring, check out Andy’s Sandwiches on East Manoa Road, or any of the delicious local eateries in the Manoa Marketplace by turning Left on Lowery Ave. from Manoa Road and then Right on East Manoa Road. - Make your way out of Manoa via University Ave. just as you came in
- Continue on University Ave. back into the heart of Honolulu
- Turn Right onto Kapi’olani Blvd.
- Turn Left on McCully Street to cross the Ala Wai Canal over the McCully Bridge and head back into Waikiki
- Turn Left onto Kalakaua Ave. and follow it through the main Waikiki Strip
- Turn Left onto Kapahulu Ave.
- Turn Left onto Lemon Road to return your bikes to the shop
